Statoil hopes to gain billions of dollars on new digital hub

Norway's Statoil expects that the creation of a new digital power center in Bergen can bring in profits of NOK 15.5 billion (USD 1.9 billion) over coming years.

Statoil will establish a new digital power hub, or super center as the company calls it, which will save the company billions of US dollars over coming years.

According to Norwegian media Dagens Næringsliv, the center will be located in Bergen, but the company itself has yet to confirm this.
