Ineos to lay off one in six workers in Denmark

Just one month after setting up an independent Danish oil and gas unit, Ineos is now implementing redundancies in the country.

Ineos is firing up to 65 of its approximately 400 Danish employees, confirms the company to EnergyWatch.

The layoffs are taking place less than five months after the UK-Swiss company formally took over the oil and gas activities from then Dong Energy. The details about the layoffs will be released next week.
