Schlumberger and Subsea 7 form new join venture

The two offshore service companies Schlumberger and Subsea 7 are in talks to form a new joint venture that will build on an existing collaboration to provide services below and above water.

Schlumberger and Subsea 7 are currently in "exclusive negotiations" to form a new joint venture.

The new venture will build on an existing partnership between the companies in Subsea Integration Alliance, launched in 2015.
