Kvaerner loses CEO to Røkke's new oil company

Norwegian yard group Kvaerner must now find a new CEO, as current Chief Exec, Jan Arve Haugan, will leave the company to instead take over the reins of Aker Energy.

The board of directors at Norwegian yard group Kvaerner will have to start looking for a new chief executive.

Current CEO, Jan Arve Haugan, will soon be leaving the group, and starting March 1, he will take over as new CEO of Kjell Inge Røkke's oil company Aker Energy, which on Monday made a USD 100 million acquisition in Ghana.
