Denmark stops all onshore oil and gas exploration

Denmark ends all drilling for oil and gas on land and in inland waters. An application for Danish region Lolland-Falster is declined.

Decades of futile onshore exploration for profitable oil and gas in Denmark are now coming to an end.

Wednesday, Denmark's government announced that it will no longer authorize exploration and extraction of oil and gas on land and in the inland waters of Denmark.
