Parts of burning tanker vessel have exploded

The front part of fully loaded tanker vessel Sanchi, which is burning on its fifth day, has exploded, report several media.

Parts of tanker vessel Sanchi, which has been burning since Saturday in the East China Sea loaded with 136,000 tons of oil, exploded Wednesday, report several media, including CNN.

The explosion, said to have occurred in the front end of the ship, has forced fire fighting vessels to retreat.
