Maersk Drilling gets criticism after fatal accident

Rig company Maersk Drilling is harshly criticized by the Norwegian authorities, which discovered "severe deficiencies" during their preliminary investigation of last year's fatal accident on a rig.

Maersk Drilling has been subjected to harsh criticism by the Norwegian authorities following the fatal accident on one of the company's rigs in December last year.

The Petroleum Safety Authority in Norway (PSA), which monitors the country's oil sector, informs Thursday that it has identified safety issues during its preliminary investigation of the accident.
