Statoil awards Castberg order to Singapore yard

Norwegian oil company Statoil has ordered an FPSO vessel for the Johan Castberg field, which will be constructed by Sembcorp in Singapore. The contract runs up to USD 490 million, reports a local media.

Norwegian oil company Statoil placed a large order with the Singapore-based yard Sembcorp Marine.

The contract concerns the partial construction of an FPSO vessel and is worth USD 490 million.
