US maximizes pressure on OPEC

The outcome is uncertain when oil ministers from the Organization of Oil Exporting Countries (OPEC) attend their biannual meeting in Vienna Thursday.

Since the beginning of the year, the organization, together with a dozen other oil exporting countries, has held oil from the market with increasing success, thus sending crude oil prices rising.
