Media: Up to 250 will be dismissed from B&W Vølund

The crisis-struck Danish power plant manufacturer B&W Vølund is now taking the hit after a significant deficit. According to a newspaper, 250 employees will be dismissed.

B&W Vølund is planning to dismiss approximately 250 employees, according to an internal memo to employees which regional media Jyske Vestkysten has accessed.

According to the press release, the dismissals will affect 67 workers on hourly wages, 85 staff in the Glostrup facility, and 98 staff in Esbjerg and other locations.
