Porsche weighs following in the footsteps of Volvo

Porsche considers phasing out diesel engines within a few years, while Volvo will soon bet 100 percent on hybrid and electric cars.

Porsche, which is owned by Volkswagen, is considering whether to completely phase out diesel engines.

Meanwhile, the automaker is about to launch its first electric car. According to Porsche, this is a four-door vehicle, set for release in 2019.
