Danfoss on the hunt for Italian acquisitions

Danfoss has been window-shopping in Italy, on the hunt for new ideas and business opportunities within digital solutions.

Danish cleantech group Danfoss is on the hunt for acquisitions - this time in Italy. The Danfoss group has bought software firm Prosa, which is located in Venice and has specialized within IoT, intelligent equipment and design of user interfaces, writes Danfoss. 

"Buying new technology and digital competences is an important part of our digital transformation, and the acquisition of Prosa is yet another huge step on the way. When we combine Prosa's strong software competences and Danfoss' application expertise, we can offer new, cooling solutions to the advantage of our customers," says Fausing, executive vice president and COO of Danfoss, in a press release.
