Tesla accused of poor working conditions

Tesla has conquered the electric car market and has set the standard for design and security across the entire industry. But the US company has apparently neglected to take care of employees along the way, writes a UK newspaper.

While traditional electric cars are battling diesel scandals and slow product development, US firm Tesla has managed to seize virtually the entire market for luxury electric cars. At the same time, Tesla's market value has exploded and the stock market today values Tesla in line with reputable automakers such as GM and Ford.

But there is a darker side of the story, according to a long article from UK newspaper The Guardian where Tesla faces sharp criticism for worker conditions at the group's factory in Fremont, California.
