India and China boost sales at Danfoss

The Indian market has become something of a growth driver for Danfoss which has just booked a 13-percent increase in sales over the first quarter.

When current CEO Niels B. Christiansen steps down on July 1, he will be leaving behind a strong cleantech group. Danfoss will transition to its new chief executive on a solid foundation, evident in the company's first quarter interim report released Wednesday.

The quarter showed 13-percent growth in sales up to DKK 10.7 billion (EUR 1.4 billion). This progress stems from India and China in particular, while Europe and North America also showed positive development.
