Electric car frenzy in South Korea

South Korean motorists seem to have an insatiable appetite for electric cars.

While European wind turbine developers have long had South Korea in their minds as a potential growth market, consumers in the country have demonstrated a rising demand for electric cars.

According to digital media Gas2, Chevrolet managed to sell out of Bolt, its 100 percent electricity-operated car, within just a few hours. The car was introduced at the Seoul Motor Show two weeks ago, and now there is a waiting list for the car after a few hours at the fair.
