It should be part of official British industry and energy policy to increase investments in energy efficiency measures such as insulation, better windows, and new thermostats. This is the recommendation from British organizations in the energy industry – recommendations which will be included in the coming British strategy for industry.
Think tank Carbon Trust alongside the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) point to a need for increased investments in the UK for energy efficient measures.
