Cleantech company Rockwool books stable quarter

Danish stone wool producer Rockwool maintains its guidance for the full year after the third quarter, in which revenue was slightly lower than projected, but earnings were above expectations.

Rockwool continues to grow earnings. In the third quarter, the Danish cleantech company booked a result of EUR 65 million before taxes on revenue of EUR 571 million. The result has thus doubled compared to the same period last year with almost unaltered revenue. Furthermore, the free cash flow was improved in the quarter by all of EUR 127 million up to EUR 140 million for the year thus far.

Looking at the year's first three quarters, the same trends are visible. In this period, revenue suffered a very slight decline – 0.55 percent – year to year but the result improved by almost two thirds to EUR 166 million before taxes.
