Norwegian solar power producer breaks record despite delays

Norwegian solar power producer Scatec Solar broke production records in the past quarter. However, delays still haunt the ambitious development plan.

Production also secured Scatec Solar record-high earnings of 281 million Norwegian kroner (NOK), or USD 24.1 million, in the quarter. This is NOK 80 million more than in the same quarter last year. However, earnings had a hard time keeping up and remained at a modest NOK 11 million.
