Ørsted, Everfuel target big subsidies for green projects

The IPCEI hydrogen project to which Denmark has allocated DKK 850m will see participation by an e-methanol project at Avedøre Holme near Copenhagen and the expectedly greened refinery in Fredericia, Southern Denmark.

Last week saw the first turf cut for the initial phase of Danish company Everfuel's electrolysis project HySynergy in Fredericia, Southern Denmark. And Tuesday, the Danish Business Authority dug potentially very deeply on behalf of the hydrogen company.

The second phase of the project, HySynergy 2.0, is one of two projects that the authority has selected for participation in the Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) for hydrogen. The other is domestic utility Ørsted's project Green Fuels for Denmark.
