Stiesdal inaugurates first fully automatic pyrolyzer

Cleantech firm Stiesdal commissions a new test facility as part of preparations for a pyrolyzer ten timers larger at Danish energy hub Greenlab Skive.

With its first fully automated test facility, Stiesdal takes another important step toward commercializing its Skyclean technology, which converts agricultural waste products to bio-coal, gases and oils.

In a press release, Stiesdal writes that the test pyrolyzer, commissioned on Wednesday, has a capacity of 200kW and can process 500 tonnes of agricultural waste per year, corresponding to a total CO2 emission reduction of nearly 600 tonnes.
