Nordic firms collaborate on ammonia project

ST1 and Horisont have signed an MoU on development of an ammonia project in Norway that will supply transport and industry.

A partnership has formed between Finnish firm ST1 Nordic and Norway's Horisont Energi, which have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

In brief, the two companies aim to collaborate on the establishment of green ammonia production in Finnmark, northern Norway. Here, they mean to produce ammonia by way of electrolysis, wind turbines and hydrogen from various green sources. At the same time, the partners will examine new and alternative technologies within green ammonia production, according to a statement.
