Saint-Gobain expects record year after strong first half

The French insulation firm builds upon the second half of 2020.

French insulation producer Saint-Gobain expects a record operating result in 2021 after the first half saw considerable advancement, according to the interim report published Thursday after the market closed in Paris.

The operating result for the first half of 2021 increased to EUR 2.4bn against EUR 827m in the same period last year, though the latter was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
