Wärtsilä secures 100MW battery order

EDF subsidiary Pivot Power has placed an order for batteries with Finland's Wärtsilä, going to two locations in central England.

Wärtsilä further builds its partnership with Pivot Power.

The British company, a subsidiary a French utility EDF, has previously placed an order for two times energy storage of 50MW with the Finnish equipment supplier, and now follows another.
