Freyr to begin construction of pilot battery cell factory

The battery firm has made its final investment decision on its first battery cell factory in Mo in Rana, Norway, where construction is set to take off in August.

Come August, Freyr is set to begin construction of its pilot battery cell factory in Mo in Rana, Norway, the company states in a news release.

With the final investment decision on the project in place, Freyr is now ready for the manufacturing plant to get going, while production is slated to commence in the second half of 2022.
