Heat pump producer Fenagy gets Swedish investor as majority owner

Swedish cooling company Beijer Ref has become the majority shareholder of heat pump producer Fenagy after a major investment. The added liquidity will strengthen the organization and boost an international expansion, the company says.

Fenagy, which has developed and produced climate-friendly heat pumps and cooling systems since 2020, now gets Swedish cooling company Beijer Ref as its majority shareholder.

Beijer Ref has invested DKK 19.2m (EUR 2.58m) in the startup company and thereby increased its stake to 50 percent, writes the Danish heat pump manufacturer on its website. The remaining half is still owned by the company's four founders, which also handle daily management.
