Shell, RWE report forthcoming hydrogen pipeline

The duo has signed a declaration of intent to build a pipeline for transmitting hydrogen to Germany.

An official letter of intent to construct a pipeline to transport 1 million tonnes of liquid hydrogen per year is now entered, RWE confirms in a statement.

The German utility has signed the agreement alongside Shell and network operators Gauni and Gascade from the Netherlands and Germany, respectively.
