BWSC sells waste-to-energy business

Six months after BWSC halted all turnkey orders for power plants, the Danish company is selling its construction arm involved in waste-to-energy plants.

Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor (BWSC) remains committed to its shift from a power plant manufacturer to a service company.

Monday afternoon, the 150-year-old Danish company announced the sale of its Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT) business, which includes the branch involved in constructing waste-to-energy plants.
