Northvolt bags gigantic battery order from Volkswagen

The German carmaker has placed an order for batteries worth USD 14bn soon after presenting its strategy for the area.

A new step in the partnership between Northvolt and Volkswagen Group sees the former receiving an order worth USD 14bn.

The order is an extension on Northvolt's selection as strategic main supplier of premium battery cells to Volkswagen Group in Europe.
