Nel books record profit for the year

The Norwegian hydrogen firm secures a record result through its stake in Everfuel despite a deep operating deficit marked by the transition to large-scale operations.

Earlier this month, Nel launched a collection of merchandise, and fans can now show their support for the Norwegian hydrogen producer through everything from towels to mugs.

Seeing as this was an event that took place after the quarter closed, however, it cannot quite explain the annual result for 2020 of NOK 1.295 billion (EUR 126.6 million), the best result to date. Still, it may justifiably be said to have been the support of the company's surroundings that raised the result.
