Consortium secures injection for green aviation and ship fuel production

17 European players have received DKK 30 million from Innovation Fund Denmark to be spent on developing green fuel for heavy transport.

A large consortium begins efforts to convert sludge into jet fuel for use in aviation and shipping. Innovation Fund Denmark has allocated DKK 30 million (EUR 4 million) to this purpose.

The consortium will work to bring production of such fuels to commercialization, states cluster organization Energy Cluster Denmark.
