Freyr hires sales chief with energy storage specialty

The battery company appoints a new sales EVP with both technological and commercial experience with energy storage.

Freyr has brought in a new profile for its sales team in the form of Gery Bonduelle, who gets the title of executive vice president of sales at the battery company, which aims to build a big factory in Norway with 32 GW in annual energy storage production capacity.

According to Freyr, Bonduelle is a specialist within both technological and sales aspects of energy storage. He's now hired to lead Freyr's commercialization program for its next-generation batteries targeting the growing global market for electric vehicles, storing power as well as marine applications.
