The German automotive giant Volkswagen invested a further USD 200 million in battery maker Quantumscape, Volkswagen informs in a press statement Tuesday, following an initial capital injection of USD 100 million.
The carmaker has cooperated with Quantumscape since 2012 on the development of batteries of Volkswagen's electric cars.
