Tesla books record quarter: Stock soars

Tesla delivered 95,200 vehicles to customers in the second quarter, exceeding expectations.

In the second quarter, US-based electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla delivered the largest amount of cars ever seen at the company during a single quarter.

According to Bloomberg News, Tesla delivered 95,200 vehicles to customers during Q2, exceeding both analysts' estimate of 87,749 and its previous record of 90,700, booked in Q4 2018.
