"We are still burning through money, and we will do so for some years yet,"

The deficit has never been higher at Danish car-sharing firm GreenMobility, but the founder and director remain extremely optimistic about the future, even though the company has had to downgrade its ambitions.

GreenMobility is a company in growth, and money is being lost. However, things are going better than planned, says the car-sharing company's CEO Henrik Isaksen after presenting its annual report yesterday which showed a DKK 33.1 million record-high deficit.

"You need to look at the top line, where we have had powerful growth this year. So on that front, I think we look good. We are still burning through money and we will do that for some years yet,"  says Isaksen, adding that the deficit will be somewhat smaller next year, while revenue will reach higher.
