Danish electric mobility operator Clever and German utility E.ON division Drive Infrastructure GmbH have received the final approval from competition authorities for their joint venture. The partners aim to establish and commission ultra-fast charging stations along the highways of Scandinavia. The joint venture will go by the name of Ultra-Fast Charging Venture Scandinavia A/S, the two companies inform in a press statement.
The new joint venture seeks to accelerate implementation of sustainable mobility and connect the cities of Scandinavia with a total of 48 ultra-fast charging stations in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. These will provide access to both Clever and E:ON Drive Mobility's customers as well as third-party operators.
