Tesla lowers prices in China. The reason? Trade war

Tesla prices in China will fall by up to 26 percent to make the cars cheaper and more accessible to Chinese consumers.

Tesla is changing strategy in China. The electric car manufacturer will lower its prices for Chinese consumers in order to absorb the hit from tariffs arising from the trade war with China sparked by the US.

Tesla plans to reduce prices on its X and S models of between 12 and 26 percent, writes Reuters.
