NKT chair: Big work ahead in regaining investor confidence

With prospects for a miserable 2018 – and perhaps a horrifying 2019 – all efforts will now be required for making NKT easier for investors to understand. The company will also have to win difficult fights for lucrative orders, says chair.

Nothing is easy when one's task is manufacturing kilometers of cables weighing tons and then dumping these down to the bottom of the sea from where the billions upon billions of euros flow through the lines.

And things are particularly difficult for NKT on this third Friday in November, as the company downgraded its guidance for 2018, warned of miserable prospects for 2019 and then topped things off by firing its chief executive officer.
