Tesla faces new problems, allegedly subpoenaed by SEC

The US Securities and Exchange Commission argues that Tesla CEO Elon Musk went too far by tweeting that he secured financing for taking the company private.

Tesla's founder Elon Musk is an active twitter user, and a recent tweet landed him in hot water with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

According to several US media,  the SEC has subpoenaed Tesla, and thereby the board of directors, for manipulation.
