Tesla reaches major production milestone

"Euphoric" was how an employee described the atmosphere in a Tesla facility after the car manufacturer reached its production target in the last week of June.

Over the weekend, Tesla reached its target to roll out 5,000 new Model 3 electric cars from its Freemont facility in California, USA.

Car number 5,000 was ready a few hours after midnight on Sunday, July 1, say two employees at the facility to news bureau Reuters.
