Danish wave energy company raises capital for sales and marketing

The Danish wave energy company Resen Waves has succeeded in securing a capital injection for stimulating sales.

Resen Waves has raised GBP 1 million through the venture firm West Hill Capital, writes the company in a press statement.

The capital will be used to stimulate sales and marketing of the company's wave energy project, Power Buoy, in Aberdeen, where the focus is largely on the oil and gas sector, writes Resen Waves in the statement. The money will also be put toward further research and product development in Denmark.
