2017 is a year that Danish solar heating company Arcon-Sunmark would probably rather forget. Not only did the company carry out a staff reduction and replace its CEO, the annual report now reveals that business failed to recover in the past year.
The company is a market leader in package solutions for large-scale solar heating plants and booked revenue of just DKK 98 million (EUR 13 million) compared to DKK 457 million the year before. This is mainly related to a sudden slowdown on the Danish market, where an unsettled energy policy dispute caused the district heating sector to stop the development of new heating facilities, which impacted Arcon-Sunmark.
