Tesla CEO holes up in Gigafactory after billion-dollar deficit

Tesla's latest financial report reveals a record-large billion US dollar deficit. Founder Elon Musk blames problems with the Tesla 3 model.

The third quarterly report for innovative car manufacturer Tesla revealed a staggering loss of USD billions.

The huge deficit is primarily attributed to production challenges with the new Tesla 3 model, which was stranded in "production hell" according to Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk.
